Kevin holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Guelph. In 2004, he entered the financial services industry and began growing his business and is the founder of OPTIM Financial Services. 

Kevin listens, educates and guides Clients to achieve their goals with financial strategies suited to their specific needs. He is passionate about helping families and businesses develop integrated financial plans encompassing proper investment management and tax strategies to achieve the success they deserve.

Adam joined Sun Life as an Advisor in 2007 after five successful years in the golf industry. Adam successfully attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Chartered Life Underwriter designations. Adam also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Adam’s goal is to help young professionals, business owners and busy families better understand their financial situation. He aims to help them make great decisions to grow and protect their assets, support their family, retire on time, and leave a lasting legacy. His mission is to build strong relationships to ensure Clients have a secure financial future.

After two years in the accounting industry, Rob started his financial services career in 1989. He completed the Canadian Securities Course in 1996. Prior to that, he received a golf scholarship to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where he graduated with an Honours B.A. in business.

Rob’s accounting and tax background provides him with valuable insight when helping Clients find sound financial solutions. He dedicates himself to helping Clients build their wealth, protect their assets and realize their retirement dreams.

Emily graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2015. After completing a Post Graduate Certificate in Financial Planning at Conestoga College, she joined the OPTIM team in 2016.

Emily completed her Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2019. She works with Clients to develop a holistic plan that will help them reach their financial goals. Her objective is to help Clients feel secure and confident with their financial future.

Andrew joined Sun Life as an Advisor in 2017 after 7 years in the construction industry. Andrew successfully attained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2021 and joined the OPTIM team in 2023.

Andrew’s goal is to help working professionals and business owners understand their financial situation. He aims to help them make great decisions to grow and protect their assets, support their family, retire on time, and leave a lasting legacy. His mission is to build strong relationships to ensure Clients have a secure financial future.

Diane joined Cowan Wilkin Financial Services Inc. in 2003. With over thirty years of financial services experience, Diane brings advanced management skills to our team. She also shares our passion for building strong Client relationships with dedicated customer service. She is both Life Insurance and Mutual Fund Licenced. Diane guides our team, manages office operations and ensures we meet the highest standards for Clients.

Rebecca joined OPTIM Financial Solutions in 2017. Clients come to her with investment-related questions regarding online deposits, withdrawals, and tax slips. Her attention to detail, organizational skills and drive make her a great asset to the team. Clients appreciate her ability to complete their investment-related requests with accuracy and in a timely manner. 

Rebecca graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph. She is Mutual Fund Licenced and also holds an ETF certification.

Denise joined Cowan Wilkin Financial Services Inc. in 2015. She helps serve our wealth Clients by managing efficiency and accuracy of investment accounts and transactions. Denise understands the importance of superior customer service. She holds both her Life Insurance and Mutual Fund License. Prior to joining the team Denise worked in the media industry. She focused on marketing and customer service which enhances her contribution to our team.

Alanna joined OPTIM Financial Solutions in 2019 with over 4 years of experience in customer service and office administration. She has completed several certificate and diploma programs, including a Project Planning and Management Certificate at the University of Virginia. Alanna also holds her Life Insurance Licence and Mutual Fund Licence.

Clients come to Alanna with a wide variety of administrative questions, and she makes those her top priority. She is here to help by acting as a liaison between Clients and Advisors. She is very approachable, organized, and always responds to inquiries quickly.

Janice joined Cowan Wilkin Financial Services Inc. in 2012. When you call or visit our office, Janice greets you with a warm welcome. Clients feel at ease with her knowledgeable and friendly manner. Janice holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degree. She is both Life Insurance and Mutual Fund Licenced. Janice is an advocate for animals in need and has volunteered at the Humane Society for over 20 years.

Courtney joined Cowan Wilkin Financial Services Inc. in 2014. Courtney helps guide Clients throughout the insurance underwriting processes and helps them update their life or health insurance policies. Courtney is both Life Insurance and Mutual Fund Licensed. Prior to joining the team, Courtney worked as an office manager of a naturopathic clinic. She gained significant experience helping customers, managing staff and running the office. Her strong customer service skills are a great asset to our team.

Rebecca (Becky) joined OPTIM Financial Solutions in 2023 with over 20 years of experience in different roles at a major insurance company. Becky has a strong background in the financial services industry and is committed to providing the highest level of customer service to Clients. Becky ensures we have a deep understanding of what Clients hope to achieve by capturing and interpreting the important details during Client meetings. 

Becky is a lover of animals and photography and when she is not working, she will often be found with either a camera or furry friend at her side.
