For many, the holiday season can be the most wonderful time of the year, while for others it means the hardest time of the year. At MKS Financial Services, we believe that it’s always important to give back and help those that need a hand up, and we invite you to join us this holiday season!
As the holiday season gets underway, we are excited to share that from December 1st through December 18th, we will be hosting a Holiday Food Drive for the Regina Food Bank. Charitable organizations like the Regina Food Bank are more important than ever as we see food prices increase each year. We aren’t able to change food prices, but we can make a difference by donating much needed items to those in need.
We warmly invite you to participate in this year’s Holiday Food Drive by donating non-perishable items. Some of the most needed items are: Canned fruit Canned soup/stew Canned tuna/salmon Canned vegetables Pasta & rice Pasta sauce Instant oatmeal
If you would like to participate, please come visit us and place your generous donation(s) under our Christmas tree. Our Christmas tree will be in the lobby at the Sun Life office, located at 2220 Willow Road in Regina, SK.
We deeply appreciate any donation(s) you’re able to make. The MKS team will also be doubling the weight of all donations received – essentially donating can for can – to ensure those in need don’t go without this holiday season. We believe this is a wonderful way to spread a little kindness this holiday season.
On October 29th, 30th, and 31st Mike held his annual Spicer Scare House. It’s always so great to see the community come together for such a great cause, and we had a ghoul of a time scaring children and adults alike! This year’s Scare House was especially special, as after 11 years of being a staple in the Uplands Community, the Spicer Scare House has come to a close, but it may return in 2027…to a new location! Stay tuned!
We would like to thank everyone who came out and made a small donation to Bright Eyes Dog Rescue. With your help we raised $10,000 this year! With MKS Financial Services matching this amount, the Spicer Scare House raised a staggering total of $20,000, absolutely shattering last years total of $12,000!!
With this year’s total, we are proud to say that in the last four years, the Spicer Scare House has raised nearly $50,000 for Bright Eyes Dog Rescue. That’s a huge accomplishment and we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s support! Our furry friends are beyond thankful for your support.
